Emma · AI employee

An executive assistant costs about A$8,000 a month. Emma costs a fraction of that.

Emma is an AI employee. Talk to her on WhatsApp, Slack or Microsoft Teams. She reads your inbox, checks your jobs in Fergus or AroFlo, sees who owes you money in Xero, and drafts the reply, the quote or the reminder. You say yes. She sends. Have her inside the full Nodus OS, or plugged into the systems you already run.

Two ways to hire her

One AI employee. Your choice of where she sits.

Some businesses want one system for everything. Others already run Fergus, Xero and a shared inbox, and have no intention of moving. Emma works both ways. Pick the one that fits today.

01 · Inside Nodus OS

The whole business in one system, with Emma native to all of it.

For businesses starting fresh, or tired of six logins that don't talk to each other. Website, SEO, receptionist, CRM, quotes, invoices, jobs: Emma sits inside every one.

You get
Nodus OS end to end, plus Emma. The receptionist who answers your phone and the employee who drafts your quotes are the same Emma.
You keep
Your accounting if you want it. Xero and QuickBooks connect in a click.
Emma does
Everything on this page, with full context: the call that came in, the quote that followed, the invoice that went unpaid.

We set her up with you, app by app. The sooner we have access together, the sooner she starts.

02 · In the systems you already run

Keep what works. Emma plugs in and gets to work.

For businesses with a job system, an accounting package and an inbox they already trust. No migration, no retraining, no new place to look. Emma connects to what you have and reports in the chat app you already use.

You get
Emma as a stand-alone AI employee: on WhatsApp, Slack or Teams, with her own cloud desk and browser.
You keep
Fergus, AroFlo, Xero, QuickBooks, HubSpot, Gmail, Outlook. All of it stays exactly as it is.
Emma does
Reads your inbox, jobs, invoices and contacts; drafts replies, reminders and quotes; chases what's overdue. You approve, she sends.
Set-up
A sign-in for each cloud app, an access key for each trade tool. We do it with you, and your co-operation sets the pace.

EmmaDrafted. Harbour and Ritchie get the standard nudge, Westside a soft one. Three approvals are waiting in this thread.

On the phone she is your receptionist: she answers calls, books the job and sends you the summary.

Pick an app to see what Emma does inside it. The cloud apps connect with a sign-in; the trade tools take an access key from your account. We do the set-up with you, and how fast it goes depends on how quickly we get access together. Same list on both paths.

1,513 more apps, on your own account.

Every app below connects to Emma through your own login, so the data stays yours. Open a category, or search the list.

Approvals, wherever you are

Nothing leaves the building without you.

An email, an invoice, a quote: Emma drafts it and posts the approval to you in the chat where you asked. The card shows what she wants to send, with the full draft one tap away. Approve from the ute. Only the owner can approve; staff can still ask her anything.

Her own computer

Some jobs need a browser. She has one.

Every client gets Emma a desk in the cloud: a real browser she opens when a task lives on a website, not in an app. Look up an ABN. Check a supplier portal. Read a council page. You watch her screen live, and you type any password yourself. Nodus never stores one.

  • 01You ask in chat: “Check the ABN for Harbour Kitchens.”
  • 02Emma opens her browser. You can watch the screen live.
  • 03She reports back in the same thread, word for word from the page.

How she stays safe

Rules she cannot break.

You type the passwords.

Never Emma, never Nodus. Nodus stores no website passwords.

She drafts, you send.

Emails, quotes, invoices and reminders are held for your approval before they go anywhere.

Only the owner approves.

The person who connected Slack or Teams is the one who can say yes. Staff can ask; they cannot approve.

She says what she did.

Every task ends with a report in the thread it started in, and a record you can read back.

Questions

Straight answers.

What is Emma?

Emma is the AI employee from Nodus. She reads and drafts in the apps a trade or small business already uses (email, accounting, job management, CRM) and takes instructions through WhatsApp, Slack or Microsoft Teams. Every send waits for the owner's approval.

Do I need Nodus OS to have Emma?

No. There are two ways to have her: inside the full Nodus OS, where she is native to the CRM, quotes, invoices and jobs; or integrated into the systems you already run. Either way you talk to her in the same chat apps and approve what she sends.

What's the difference between the two ways?

Context. Inside Nodus OS, Emma sees the whole job from the first phone call to the paid invoice, because it all happens in one system. In your own systems she sees what those systems show her, which for most businesses is plenty: the inbox, the jobs, the invoices and the contacts.

Which apps does Emma integrate with?

Gmail, Outlook / Microsoft 365, Xero, QuickBooks, HubSpot, ServiceM8, Fergus and AroFlo today. Simpro is coming in a later update, and more than 1,500 other apps connect on your own account; the full list is on this page.

Can I start in my own systems and move to Nodus OS later?

Yes. Her history, approvals and the way she writes for you carry across. Nodus OS adds the CRM, quoting, invoicing, jobs and the receptionist around her; nothing is lost.

How much does Emma cost?

A fraction of an executive assistant. Advertised assistant roles in Australia run A$80,000 to A$100,000 a year before super, about A$8,000 a month. Emma is priced on a call against what you would hand to an assistant, month to month, with no lock-in.

How long does it take to get Emma working?

It depends on how quickly we can get access to your apps together. Sign-ins for Gmail, Outlook, Xero, QuickBooks and HubSpot are quick; the trade tools need an access key from your account. We set her up with you, tell you up front what we need, and don't promise a date until we have it.

Can my staff use her too?

Yes. Anyone in your Slack workspace or Teams tenant can ask Emma questions. Only the owner who connected the channel can approve something that goes out.
