Brand protection: four ways your name turns up on Google without you.

Google Business Profiles are public. The more stores you run, the less likely anyone notices when one of them changes.

  1. A copycat listing next to your store.Your name, a different phone number, a few doors away. Customers call it thinking it's you.
  2. Your phone number, edited.Public edits and suggested changes can replace the number on your own listing.
  3. A photo carrying someone else's number.Uploaded to your listing by an account posing as your brand, with a WhatsApp or mobile number that isn't yours.
  4. An account posing as you.Photos and reviews across many of your stores, from one account using your brand as its name.

What multi-location Google Business Profile management covers

Governance is keeping every location on Google accurate, owned by you and protected, with a record anyone in compliance can follow. Six things, for every store.

AreaWhat it meansHow we hold it
AccuracyEvery listing matches the record you approved.A field-by-field check of every store, every week.
OwnershipEvery store is on Google, verified, and held in your account.Missing, unclaimed and third-party-held stores listed and worked to verified, in bulk for 10+ locations.
Change controlNothing changes on a listing without your sign-off.Edits from Google, the public or anyone else are caught and opened as cases.
Brand protectionWe search for anyone using your name, and report it.Copycat listings, accounts posing as you and numbers inside photos, searched for around every store.
Reporting to GoogleMisuse goes to Google through its own channels, with evidence.Batches through Business Redressal, case IDs kept, follow-ups and appeals where Google allows them.
Evidence and auditA record your legal and compliance teams can rely on.Every finding, report and Google answer dated; a board-ready report each month.

Fully managed. Your team signs off, we run the rest.

You don't need a person on your side watching Google. A Nodus team works the platform for you and makes every call that goes to Google.

What your team does

  1. Send us the store list.
  2. Give us manager access from your own Google account.
  3. Approve the record for each store, once.
  4. Read the monthly report.

What Nodus runs

  1. Matching every store to its Google listing
  2. Claiming and bulk verification, tracked to verified
  3. Weekly checks of every store, field by field
  4. Searching for copycats, impersonation and numbers in photos
  5. Opening cases with the evidence and a recommended verdict
  6. Reporting to Google, keeping case IDs, following up and appealing
  7. Correcting your own listings to the approved record
  8. The monthly report and a live read-only login for your team

How it runs, week to week

A platform and a team. The platform does the reading and comparing at scale; people make every call that goes to Google.

  1. 01Import and match
Upload your store list. Each store is matched to its Google listing; a store is confirmed on its own only when exactly one listing sits on its pin with a similar name, or carries its exact phone number. Anything less certain goes to a person.CSV or Excel · store codes kept
  2. 02Verify and claim
Stores missing from Google, unclaimed, or held by someone else are listed with what to do next. We prepare the bulk sheet in Google's upload format and run bulk verification for chains of 10 or more locations.Bulk sheet · ownership requests · tracked to verified
  3. 03Sign off
You approve the record for every store: name, address, phone, hours, website. That approved version is what Google is checked against from then on.
  4. 04Weekly check
Every store is read from Google and compared field by field. Changes, closures, removed listings and review surges open a case the same day.Phone · hours · name · address · website · status
  5. 05Copycats and impersonation
A search around every store for listings using your brand that aren't yours, accounts posting under your name, and phone numbers or websites written inside photos on your listings.
  6. 06Report and track
Each case comes with evidence, a recommended verdict and report text in English and Spanish. Copycat listings go to Google in batches through its Business Redressal form. Every case is tracked to Google's answer.
  7. 07Monthly report
A board-ready PDF each month: stores correct on Google, cases found, reported, closed, and what Google answered. Your team also gets a read-only login to see everything live.

Found on Monday, reported to Google the same week.

FoundA copycat listing 120 m from store CV-014.Grouped into one case with its evidence: the name it uses, the number it shows, the store it sits next to.

We identify, report and follow up. Google decides.

Nobody outside Google can promise a listing comes down, and anyone who does is selling something they don't control. What we control is the speed of detection, the quality of the evidence, and a record of every report and answer that your legal and compliance teams can rely on.

Three things we never do

  1. Promise that Google will act.
  2. Change a listing you haven't signed off.
  3. Send anything to Google without a person checking it.

Built for brands where a wrong number on Google costs money.

What buyers ask first

What is Google Business Profile management for multiple locations?

Looking after every location's Google Business Profile as one programme: getting each store verified and owned by the brand, keeping name, address, phone, hours and website matching an approved record, checking them every week, and reporting anything on Google that uses the brand's name but isn't the brand's. Nodus Locations does this as a fully managed service for brands with 10 or more locations.

What does the free Google Business Profile audit include?

We read what Google shows the public for each of your stores and send back which listings are missing, unverified or held by someone else, where the details differ from yours, and where your name or a phone number that isn't yours appears around your stores. It needs no logins or access to your accounts.

What is Google Business Profile governance?

Keeping every one of your Google Business Profiles verified, accurate and protected over time: one signed-off record per location, regular checks of what Google shows against it, and a documented process for reporting anything that uses your name but isn't yours.

Can you get fake listings taken down?

No one outside Google can promise that. We identify the listing, photo, account or number, report it to Google through Google's own channels with evidence, and track the case until Google decides. When Google acts, the next check confirms it and the case closes with the date.

Is it fully managed?

Yes. Your team sends the store list, grants manager access and approves the record for each store. Nodus runs everything else: verification, weekly checks, brand protection searches, reports to Google and follow-ups, correcting your listings to the approved record, and the monthly report.

Do you need access to our Google account?

Not for the free scan or the weekly checks: they read what Google shows the public. Manager access is needed for verification and for reporting from inside your Business Profile, and you grant it from your own account.

How long does bulk verification take?

Google doesn't publish a time for it. Brands with 10 or more locations can request bulk verification once the locations are in one account; we prepare the store sheet in Google's format and track the request until every location shows as verified.

How is it priced?

Per location, as a one-off set-up and a monthly fee. We quote after the free scan, once we know how many locations you have and what is on Google today.

Which countries and languages?

We're based in Perth, Western Australia, and work with brands in Australia and Latin America. Reports, case text and the client portal are in English and Spanish.

Something we haven't answered? Write to [email protected]. A person in Perth replies, usually the same working day.

Tell us the brand and roughly how many locations. We search Google around your stores and send back what we find, in plain language. If you want, we walk you through it on a call.
